Mango Smoothies - Mango Smoothies Recipes

An often overlooked citrus fruit, the mango can be the sparkle in any smoothie. You can substitute mango for oranges for a slightly different flavor. Submit your mango smoothie recipes.

Mango Smoothie Recipe

mango SMOOTHIE I

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup peeled, pitted and sliced fresh mango
  • honey to taste
  • 1/2 cup ice

Place the juice, fruit and honey in a blender. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds. Add the ice and blend until smooth.

Star Fruit & Mango Smoothie Recipe

Okay, I know, I know. Star Fruit? Who eats star fruit. Well, that is why I added mango and vanilaa yogurt. Still, star fruit doesn’t get a fair shake. Get it? Smoothie? Shake. Okay, I’ll stick to recipes.

Star Fruit & mango Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces of plain or vanilla yogurt. I prefer vanilla
  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • 4 star fruit
  • 2 mangoes

Place in blender and blend until smooth. Serving size: 1

Tropical Five Fruit Blast Smoothie

This smoothie is truly a blast of fruit flavors. It is hard to find such an enteraining mix of, especially with papaya.

Tropical Five Fruit Blast Smoothie Recipe

  • 1 large banana, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 kiwi fruit, peeled and quartered
  • 1/2 cup peeled and diced mango
  • 1/2 cup peeled and diced papaya
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 3 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in blender and whip until smooth. Serves 2

Mango Madness Smoothie

This is a delicious mango smoothie. Very tangy and sweet just like a good mango. The madness is because you will be getting mango on the brain.

mango Madness Smoothie Ingredients:

  • 2 cups nonfat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup mango nectar
  • 2 mangos, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. cardamom

Add all ingredients to blender and process until smooth. Add 1 cup of ice cubes and blend till crushed and smooth. Cardamom can be hard to find so leave it out if you need to. Serves 2

Hawaiian Smoothie

This is an incredible smoothie with a crazy and diverse mix of fruits that you will find hard to beat when looking for a unique flavor comibination. If you try this one, please email and let me know what you think.

Hawaiian Holiday Smoothie Ingredients:

  • 1 cup passion fruit nectar
  • 1 cup guava nectar
  • 1 cup orange sherbet
  • 4 Tbs. coconut milk
  • 1/2 frozen banana in chunks
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango slices
  • 1 cup strawberry yogurt

Pour all liquid ingredients into the blender. Add all frozen ingredients. blend at MIX setting for 30 seconds then blend at SMOOTH setting until smooth. While the machine is running, move the stir stick around counter-clockwise to aid mixing. Serve immediately. Each recipe serves 3-5.

Melon Mint Smoothie

Melon Mint Smoothie Ingredients:

  • 2 cups diced cantaloupe
  • 1 cup diced honeydew melon
  • 1 cup diced seedless watermelon
  • 1/2 cup passion fruit or mango juice
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 3 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in blender and whip until smooth. Serves 2

Green Tea Smoothie

Green Tea Smoothie Ingredients:

  • 1 decaffinated green or white tea bag
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup mango, cubed
  • 1 wedge fresh lime juice
  • 2 cups crushed ice

Heat water and brew tea. Let cool.
Place cooled tea, mango, lime juice, and crushed ice in a blender and blend until thick and smooth. Adjust ice to the consistency you like best.
The fruit will naturally sweeten this smoothie but for those who want a little more sweetness any type of sweetner can be used.

Gettin’ My Grove Back Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of natural orange juice
  • 1 cup of sliced strawberries
  • 2 mangos peeled and with seeds removed
  • 2 tablespoons of Grade B Maple syrup
  • 1/3 teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • 1⁄4 Tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of crushed ice

Place all ingredients in blender, mix and drink

Apricot Mango Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. light (reduced sugar) fat-free Apricot-mango yogurt
  • (This is one container of Yoplait)
  • 1 cup. Crystal Light lemonade
  • 1/2 banana
  • 5-6 canned apricot halves

Put all ingredients into blender. Blend well until smoothie consistency
is reached!

Mango Tango Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 frozen banana (chunks)
  • 1 cup pineapple sherbet
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mango slices

Pour all liquid ingredients into the
blender. Add all frozen ingredients. Blend at MIX setting for 30
seconds then blend at SMOOTH setting until smooth. While the
machine is running, move the stir stick around counter-clockwise to
aid mixing. Serve immediately. Each recipe serves 3-5.
