My daughter came home from school the other morning with a recipe her teacher gave to everyone...It’s titled Orange Smoothie, but I think a better name for it would be Orange Creamsicle Smoothie, it tastes almost identical.

Ingredients


1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup of orange Tang (See all Oranges)
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Ice (enough to make desired consistency)

  1. Place everything into a blender, mix till ice is crushed.

    Sounds good!! Is the Tang already mixed or a dry ingredient? Wonder if you could put this in “pop” molds and freeze?

    Awesome! I had to substitute Tang with Kool-Aid. Advice if you’re going to do that; cut down on the vanilla.

    wow delicious… and to answer the question, the tang should be the liquid, not the powder..

    does anybody remember in the 80 when you open the tang and it had recipes that you could make with tang. i think around 84 or 85 they had a smoothie
    recipe in it or it was in the tang pitcher that you could buy. like to find that recipe if i could
