Raspberry Smoothies are some of the most popular, especially frozen. They are a great choice for melding more than one fruit flavor. Not overpowering, but subtle and understated. Please submit your raspberry smoothie recipes.

Banana Raspberry Yogurt Smoothie Recipe

February 5, 2011 · Filed Under Raspberry Smoothies, Yogurt Smoothies · 1 Comment

raspberry-banana-yogurt-smoothieI don’t care for raspberries and putting them in a smoothie isn’t something I usually do. Mixing them with other fruits certainly helps and once blended their velvet texture, which I don’t care for either, isn’t an issue, but I still don’t try to fit them in my smoothie mixes. But my wife and kids like them so I keep a few bags in case they ask for them. I’m also sure that many of the readers like them too, so here is another raspberry smoothie for everyone else. ;-)

I love soymilk and almond milk so feel free to use either for this recipe. I also leave it to you to choose sweetened and/or vanilla flavoring. I personally would choose unsweetened vanilla almond milk, but your tastes may be different.

Ingredients:

  • 1 container (6 oz) 99% Fat Free French vanilla yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups soymilk or almond milk
  • 1 cup unsweetened frozen or fresh raspberries
  • 1 medium banana
  • add a few ice cubes if you don’t use frozen raspberries

You know the drill…

Place ingredients in blender or food processor. Cover; blend on high speed about 30 seconds or until smooth. Serves 2.

Raspberry Strawberry Smoothie

My first twitter smoothie recipe submission. Hopefully not my last. This is from @victormazur. I haven’t tried it, but can you go wrong with strawberries, raspberries and pineapple? I submit you cannot. As always, please let me know if you liked it. Thanks, Victor!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • 1/2 cup of pineapple juice
  • 1 cup of low-fat natural yogurt
  • 5 ice cubes

You can use frozen berries in place of the ice cubes.

A smoothie with lemonade in it is right up my alley. I love a tart smoothie and this berry smoothie has just right amount. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1 1/2 cups lemonade
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup raspberry sherbet

Pour all liquid ingredients into the blender. Add all frozen ingredients. Blend at MIX setting for 30 seconds then blend at SMOOTH setting until smooth. While the machine is running, move the stir stick around counter-clockwise to aid mixing. Serve immediately. Each recipe serves 3-5.

Lime Smoothie

lime-smoothie1

It is time for lime, as in a refreshing lime smoothie recipe. I personally love the taste of lime and you’ll notice there are not too many smoothie recipes for this wonderful fruit. Of course to make it more palatable I have add some great sweeteners. Let me know what you think.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup lime (sliced)
  • 3/4 cup low-fat milk
  • 1 cup lime sherbet (can be light or low fat)
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 2 cups ice

You can substitute key lime yogurt for the sherbet for a smoother, albeit, slightly different taste.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cranberries

  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 8 oz of yogurt, preferabbly Raspberry
  • 1 1/2 cups of ice

Blend until smooth, give it a taste and decide if you need more ice or juice.

We hope this smoothie recipe provieds you with the smoothie of your dreams.
