Great Grape Smoothie
Grapes are available year round, but summer seedless grapes are the best. As spring approaches, I'm looking forward to the delicious flavor that red grapes contain. Try this in a smoothie and reap all the health benefits that the red grape has to offer. Grape smoothies don't get the respect they deserve.
2 1/2 cups chilled (not quite frozen) red seeless grapes
2/3 cup sherbet ice cream (raspberry or lime)
1/2 cup unsweetened grape juice
1 to 3 cups of ice (start with one and add more as needed)
- Blend the other ingredient at a time and then, add the ice cubes slowly until the thickness you want is desired.
