Zacarito Smoothie

The Zacarito Smoothie Recipe

  • 1/2 container of Welch’s Frozen 100% white grape juice concentrate
  • 1 peeled banana
  • 1/2 Strawberrys, fresh or frozen(if frozen, let thaw 15 min)
  • 1/2 Pineapple Chunks, fresh or canned
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • Ice Cubes

Smoothie Preparation:

  1. Pour the concentrate into blender.
  2. Add fruit and scoop in yogurt
  3. fill blender half way with ice
  4. Blend untill thick and smooth (should not be watery or thin)

************************For an “adult” twist*********************************

Add 3/4 shot glass of brandy or 1 shot glass of strawberry vodka into the bottom of the blender before following with concentrate, fruit,yogurt and ice. Blend untill thick and smooth

If you perfer, you can substitute a spash of milk for the yougurt.
You may add or leave out any fruit.
The frozen concentrate is important for this recipe, it makes it think, and gives it a stronger flavor.

I have a nice base of alcohol smoothie recipes, but I’m looking for more variety. If you have any smoothie recipes with any type of alcohol as an ingredient please send to me at blenderman@smoothieweb.com. Be creative and don’t skimp on the ingredients or the amount. We are looking for all types of alcohol: rum, vodka, schnapps, liqueurs, bourbon, brandy, tequila, wine, champagne, whatever you can think up.

Passion Fruit Vodka Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 3 cup small ice cubes
  • 1 cup passion-fruit nectar
  • 1/4 cup vodka
  • 1/4 cup half-and-half
  • 2 tbl Cointreau
  • Orange juice
  • Coconut cream (optional)
  • Fresh passion-fruit seeds for garnish

Preparation

  1. Place ice, passion-fruit nectar, vodka, half-and-half, Cointreau, a splash of orange juice, and a splash of coconut cream, if using, in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Adjust consistency by adding more ice or juice as needed.
  4. Garnish with passion-fruit seeds, and serve immediately.

This recipe yields 2 to 4 servings.

Raspberry Lemonade Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups lemonade
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1/2 pint fresh raspberries

Preparation:

  1. Combine ice and lemonade in blender until ice is crushed.
  2. Add raspberries and process until smooth.
  3. Pour into glass and garnish with lemon slices if desired.

A refreshing drink that you can make almost calorie-free by using sugar-free lemonade. If used as a cocktail, consider adding a splash of vodka.

Vodka Smoothie

Who knew smoothies could be this much fun? And doesn’t vodka make everythting more fun.

Vodka smoothie ingredients: 

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 ounce coffee liqueur
  • 1/2 ounce cream or soy creamer
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice

Preparation
Purée in a blender until smooth.
