Banana Strawberry Rum Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 Large ripe banana, sliced Thin
- 1/2 c Fresh strawberries sliced Thin
- 1/4 c Skim milk (2%)
- 1 ts Brown sugar
- 1/2 c Banana yogurt or strawberry-banana
- 1 oz Dark rum
- 1 oz Banana brandy
- 1/4 ts Orange peel grated
Place bananas & strawberries in a bowl and freeze. Remove after frozen & place in a blender. Add skim milk, yogurt, orange peel, & sugar. blend at medium speed until thick. Add rum & brandy. Pour into a chilled champagne saucer. Arrange strawberries, banana slices, & mint on long toothpicks. Rotate into drink & serve.

Peach Rum Smoothie
Peach Rum Smoothie Ingredients
- 2 cups peeled, pitted and sliced peaches
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons rum
- 5 ice cubes
Preparation
1. Place peaches, lemon juice, rum and ice in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Pumpkin Smoothie
Are you tired of making pumpkin pie from those pumpkins? Instead, try making an altogether different concoction. This mild but sweet beverage will give you another reason to love the Halloween season.
Ingredients
- sugar pumpkin
- milk or cream
- apple cider
- sugar
- cinammon
- nutmeg
- vanilla extract
- apple slices
- banana slices
- chocolate syrup
- rum
Preparation
- Cut the top off of the pumpkin.
- Scoop out all the seeds.
- Cut off the orange outer skin.
- Cut the remaining shell into cubes.
- Boil the cubes until they’re soft.
- Throw them into the blender with milk, apple cider, and other spices and ingredients to taste.
- Pour yourself a cup, curl up next to your fireplace (or at least a fireplace screensaver) and enjoy!
Tips
Drink it hot or cool, topped with whipped cream.
Mix it with coffee for some pumpkin spice caffeine.
Throw in just a splash of rum to pack a punch.
