Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie

Pineapple is a difference maker in smoothies which is why it is rarely used. It’s distinct flavor can’t be ignored.

Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie Recipe

  • 3/4 bag frozen unsweetened whole strawberries
  • 4 cups Dole pineapple juice
  • 1 cup orange juice (fresh-squeezed or Tropicana Pure Premium
  • recommended)
  • 1 1/2 cups lowfat vanilla yogurt, frozen

Put all ingredients into blender. Blend well, stopping to stir when necessary, until smoothie consistency is reached!

On the recipe above, it calls for lowfat vanilla yogurt, frozen.

Does that mean regular yogurt that has been put into the freezer? Or does it mean frozen yogurt, like ice cream?

    Thank you!

Frozen yogurt, like ice cream. But you can try it with regular yogurt. I bet it tastes great that way too.

Sorry to be picky but just wondering, how many strawberries exactly is 3/4 of a bag. I use fresh strawberries and then put them in the freezer so it is nice when there is an aproximate number? thanks for the help
