Strawberry & Cottage Cheese Smoothie

Ingredients
- 2 ice cubes
- 1 c. milk
- 1/3 c. cottage cheese
- 2/3 c. frozen strawberries
- 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
- Pour all of the ingredients into the blender.
- Put the lid on the blender and blend for 45 to 60 seconds until smooth.
- Pour your smoothie into a glass and enjoy.

I discovered how delicious cottage cheese is when blended with frozen strawberries, raspberries or both.
Use 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 frozen strawberries, 1/3 cup milk or water, 2 tbsp of vanilla protein powder, and sweetener of choice–sugar, Spenda, Stevia, etc.
Blend until smooth. For an ice-cream thickness, add less water or milk.
This makes a delicious snack that is very healthy.
