Strawberry Banana Smoothie

The bananas give it the creamy texture and berries or tropical fruits, like mango or kiwi, will give it color and more flavor.

  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 8 large frozen strawberries, slightly thawed

Preparation

  1. Slice frozen bananas into slices and place them in blender.
  2. Add pineapple juice and strawberries and blend all ingredients until smooth.
  3. Garnish with granola.

Makes 4 servings.

Just a sprinkling for top will do. A little granola will go a long way.

Try using milk, yogurt, strawberries, and banana. It tastes better with yogurt and milk than with the pineapple juice.

I don’t think the fruit HAS to be frozen. I think it just adds more of a frozen flavor, like ice cream. I used ice cream to make a smoothie last night and my fruit wasn’t frozen. it tasted just fine. People and their specifics.
