Mojito Smoothie Recipe
Smoothie Category: Alcoholic Smoothies
A smoothie with a kick from Captain Morgan. Nice. Mojito drinks have become more popular over the recent years so it was on a matter of time before the Mojito smoothie was created. Thanks for this smoothie recipe submission.
Ingredients:
- 2.5 oz White Rum (Preferably Captain Morgan’s)
- 2 oz lime juice
- 5 oz 7 up
- 2 tablespoons raw sugar (or white)
- 2 branches of fresh mint with leaves
- 4-5 ice cubes
Process all of the ingredients in a blender, except for the mint. Pour into two tall glasses. Crush a branch on mint in each glass several times with a spoon. Serves 2

Surely Captain Morgan Rum is a DARK rum??
Morgans do many different types of Rum. Morgans spiced is golden and works very well in a mojito
CM is a spiced rum and definitely dark.
#1 This recipe sounds amazing! A nice blended texture would add an interesting twist to the tradition and classic mojito.
#Captain makes a white rum for whoever post on the dumb post on October 17th. One of their more popular rums is a dark spiced rum as seen is the post above yours. Can you read?
I would definitely stick to bacardi light for this recipe. It looks great though.
Captain is great with coke- not that great with mint.
I don’t wanta use mint do you really need mint for this drink? Mints inconveiniant. It’s inconveiniant because you can’t store mint for an indefinite period of time. Mint goes bad!! Guests might come over unannounced and when they do you might be caught without fresh mint. So forget about mint, mints a hassle. Do you really need mint for this drink?????
