the smoothie is really good but you have to cut the strawberries dont completly frezze them just make sure there are really cold and you have to add 3 spoon fulls of white sugar. But this recipe is the best!!

This is good! Add sugar (or honey) and a little more water for a really smooth texture.

sounds decent but I think the best Strawberry smoothie I’ve ever tasted was this one. It really mixes best in a great blender:

“Everything But The Kitchen Sink” Smoothie

    bananas
    orange
    apple
    fresh pineapple
    kiwis
    frozen blueberries
    frozen strawberries
    cranberry juice

Put it all in a Vita-Mix blender and blend!

if you didn’t want to add extra sugar (i’m on a diet so i’m trying to keep it down) i Fpund adding a couple teaspoons of Splenda worked just as well. add it either directly to the blender after adding ingredients or let your fresh strawberries sit in a bowl with some splender sprinkled on top for about 30 mins in the fridge. mmmmmm all the taste without the flabby waist!! lol =^_^=

I don’t have a lemon can I use lemon juice instead?

  26. Blender Man on August 12th, 2011 11:50 pm

Yes, you can use bottled lemon juice as a replacement. I would suggest tasting, but usually it works as a 1 to 1 replacement.
