Clementine Pineapple Smoothie

My wife seems to buy a lot of clementine oranges during the winter so I thought I should add a smoothie with clementines. After all, if they are a great winter fruit we should take advantage of them during the cold months here in Virginia.

Ingredients:

  • 16 clementines, segmented
  • 1 cup cubed fresh pineapples
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups milk or plain yogurt
  • Ice cubes

Directions:

  1. Supreme segment 16 clementines; set aside.
  2. Combine fresh clementines, pineapples, bananas, milk or yogurt and ice cubes in a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Serve with fresh clementine slices.
  5. Serves about 4

    I would start with 1/2 cup and see how the consistency looks. Add more or less based on your preferences. Let us know what you like if you try it.
