If you want a dairy free chocolate smoothie, try using coconut milk in place of the yogurt and milk. It is delicious! I also use nuts and water to make a creamy base for my smoothies. Completely yummy!

Great site! Love looking for new ideas!

    My recommendation (also dairy-free) :

    - replace the yogurt and milk with almond milk (or 1 1/2 cups of water and 1/4 cup almonds),

    - skip the ice cubes,

    - use 1 or two frozen bananas, and

    - use cocoa powder (1/4 cup?) for the chocolate flavor.

Toss in a few frozen berries for vitamins and flavor, if you want.
