Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie

This is a recipe that I use when its one of those hot days and im to lazy to make anything and I can’t think of anything cold to eat.

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 apple bananas (2-2 1/2 regular banana)
  • 4 spoonfuls of peanut butter (creamy preferred) (or 2 spoonfuls if you have a big spoon)
  • 1 can of sprite
  • 7-15 pieces of ice (depending on how thick you want your smoothie)

You mix together the bananas, peanut butter, and sprite first.  then when that is fully blended together you add in the ice.  I like my smoothies more on the liquidy side so I put in less ice so its still smooth but you also have that crunch.

Great recipe but Sprite kind of throws it off. I tried a cup and a half of half-and-half and a two spoonfuls of sugar.

Substitute the sprite for 1 package (150 g) of silken banana dessert tofu. Yum!!!

Aboslutely delicious!!! I made a few changes in order to make a smaller portion

    1 banana
    1 apple
1 6 oz. Yoplait Strawberry Banana yogurt [helps add a little extra flavor]
2-4 tbsp. of peanut butter (creamy)
    8-12 ice cubes
small amount of Nestle Chocolate Syrup

    ENJOY!!!
