Thank you to Sonny Martin for this second smoothie recipe submission. This berry smoothie recipe focuses on a nice fusion of berries and one we have haven’t used before, the marionberry. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

  • 2 cups frozen Nature’s Three Berries (raspberry, blueberry & marionberry)
  • 1 cup of Langer’s All Pomegranate Blueberry juice
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 to 1 ½ cup plain yogurt (we prefer Mountain High brand)
  • 1 cup Very Berry Sherbet

Blend all ingredients, in blender, first set at medium and then at high. Serves 4 to 6.

Found this on Flickr. Simple and to the point, right? I assume you need to add some ice, but maybe not. Let me know if anyone tries this.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of grapes
  • 2 handfuls of spinach

Tropical Fruit Smoothie

Thank you to Sonny Martin for this delicious smoothie recipe. Inviting too many fruits to the smoothie party can sometimes be a problem, but this mix of fruits works very well. Don’t leave out the coconut cream, it really changes the flavor.

  • ½ can pineapple in its own juice, including juice
  • 1 cup of Papaya, peeled, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 1 mango, peeled, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and broken into chunks
  • 2-3 tablespoons coconut cream (not milk)
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 1½ cup plain yogurt (we prefer Mountain High brand)
  • 1 to 1 ½ cup crushed ice

Blend all ingredients, except ice, in blender first set at medium and then at high. When smooth continue blending while pouring in 1 to 1½ cups crushed ice. Serves 4 to 6.

I chopped up some fresh strawberries, kiwis, and a banana. I added some strawberry yogurt and apple juice, and blended it all together. It was so delicious. It was nice to take this photo using day light on Saturday morning… wish I could take more photos in daylight rather than at night after work.

Editor: This smoothie is one of the best on the site in my opinion if you want the most flavorful smoothie you can make. Strawberry and kiwi make a wonderful flavor combination, but the hint of organic apple juice
really makes this smoothie a winner.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup strawberry yogurt
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
We hope this smoothie recipe provieds you with the smoothie of your dreams.
